Thank you to everyone who joined us for a morning with Allison Pace as we slowed down to notice and appreciate the beauty that’s around us. Together, we explored how the creative arts can restore and renew us through stillness, wonder, and gentle reflection.
You can see more of Allison’s reflections on the subject, plus her 20 Creative Ways to Center Down During the Holidays, on her Substack here.
Allison Head Pace grew up immersed in the arts—her father served as an arts advocate and Executive Director of the Alabama State Council on the Arts, teaching her from a young age how to see storytelling through an artist’s lens. Surrounded by symphonies, plays, and gallery openings, Allison developed a lifelong love of creativity that later shaped her training in English and literary journalism at Birmingham-Southern College.
Her passion for nurturing others led her into nearly a decade of family ministry, serving as Director of Parish Family at Saint John’s Episcopal Church, where she wrote original curricula, led Godly Play circles, and taught creative Christian formation. As a speaker and panelist, she has contributed to conferences, webinars, and podcasts on faith, storytelling, and the spiritual work of parenting.
Now in a new season of writing, speaking, and teaching, Allison shares reflections on living presently and loving fully in a hurried world. She lives in Memphis with her husband, Wilson, and their two teenagers, and is currently writing a memoir on the sacred ministry of parenthood.
